Richard awarded the ArtLinks Professional Artist Bursary Award

We are delighted to announce that Richard has been selected as one of the recipients of the ArtLinks Bursary Award for Professional Artists towards his upcoming solo exhibition at MOCA London.

ArtLinks is a partnership of the four Local Authority Arts Offices in Carlow, Kilkenny, Waterford and Wexford County Council regions. It is also supported by the Arts Council/An Chomhairle Ealaíon. ArtLinks provides professional development opportunities and supports for established and emerging artists who are resident in the four partner local authority areas in the South East region

Richard Curates PERIPHERIES 2016

We are delighted to announce that Richard is curating PERIPHERIES 2016, the leading annual event for contemporary art in the South East of Ireland. Opening on Friday 29th July at 7:30pm at the PERIPHERIES Centre for Creative Development, Gorey School of Art, Wexford; this years events will include a central exhibition of work from Elaine Byrne, Ulrich Vogl and a collaborative work from Oisin Byrne & Patrick Hough. RE:PUBLIC Opening Preview

The opening preview of Richard's exhibition RE:PUBLIC will be Thursday 21st, 7:30pm at the Market House, Gorey, Co. Wexford. It features as part of the National 1916 Centenary Programme administered by Wexford Co. Co. and supported by the ArtLinks Bursary Award. It features a mixed informational room on the ground floor, a new installation on the first floor and a public sound installation utilising the sound system installed along the streets of Gorey.

RE:Public informational website launched

We are delighted to announce the launch of the RE:Public informational website on Richards upcoming project 'RE:Public'. This project has been supported by Wexford County Council and Open Gorey Cultural Research and Development group and will feature as part of Wexfords contribution to Ireland's National 1916 Centenary Commemoration Programme.
